The AI Agent OS Readiness Checklist
The 15 checks we run before installing an AI Agent OS in any business.
An AI Agent OS multiplies what already works in your business. These 15 checks tell you, honestly, whether an install would pay for itself, and what to fix first if not. Score yourself at the end.
Part 1: Business readiness
One named bottleneck.
Can you state your most expensive manual process in one sentence? “Leads wait too long for replies.” “Nobody follows up twice.” “Content never gets published.” If you cannot name it, an install has no target.
A defined ideal customer.
Industry, role, location, deal size. Lead Gen agents score every prospect against this profile. Vague in, vague out.
A proven offer.
Something people already pay for. The OS amplifies a working offer; it cannot fix an offer nobody buys. If sales conversations already convert and you simply need more of them, you are ready.
Your follow-up gap, measured.
How long does a new enquiry wait before your business responds? Minutes, hours, days? If you do not know the number, that is the first thing an install fixes, and the first place it pays for itself.
A decision-maker with two hours.
Week one needs one person who can approve access and answer questions. If that person is you, block the time before kickoff, not after.
Part 2: Data, accounts, and voice
An access list.
Email, CRM or lead sheet, website CMS, WhatsApp Business, social accounts. Do you know every login and who controls it? Installs stall on missing passwords more than on missing technology.
Lead history in one place.
Past leads and customers, exportable. A CRM is ideal, a spreadsheet works, even exported WhatsApp chats count. Your history teaches the agents what a good lead looks like for you.
Voice samples.
Five to ten pieces of writing that sound like you: emails you are proud of, posts, brochures. Agents draft outreach and content in your voice. Without samples, you get chatbot voice, and chatbot voice does not convert.
An FAQ inventory.
The 10 to 20 questions customers always ask, with your real answers. This is what chat and booking agents run on from day one.
Somewhere to receive.
A website or landing page the system can publish to and point leads at. For SEO and content modules, that means CMS access, not just a domain name.
Part 3: Infrastructure and ownership
Your own server, your own data.
The OS deploys on a VPS you own (roughly $20 to 40 per month, paid directly to the host, and we help you set it up). Ready to own your infrastructure instead of renting a black box?
WhatsApp Business API eligibility.
For booking and follow-up agents in India: a registered business and a phone number that can move to the WhatsApp Business API. Personal WhatsApp cannot run agents.
An AI running budget.
Beyond setup and retainer, the agents consume AI model credits, typically $30 to 100 per month depending on volume. Your Commander’s Briefing reports the spend, tracked daily.
One success number.
Ninety days after go-live, what single metric means it worked? Leads per week, response time, articles published, hours back. One number, agreed before install, checked every briefing.
Your human-in-the-loop line.
Which decisions must stay human? Approving outreach before it sends, pricing, refunds? Deciding this before install prevents both over-automation (trust lost) and under-automation (time not saved).
Your score
12 to 15
checks ready
You are install-ready. A Growth Install would start producing in its first week. Book a demo call and see a live instance.
8 to 11
checks ready
Strong candidate with gaps. This is exactly what the AI Opportunity Audit is for: 60 minutes, we close the gaps on paper and map your module mix before any install.
Under 8
checks ready
Do not buy an install yet, from us or anyone. Fix the offer and name the bottleneck first. Checks 1 to 4 are free to complete and change everything.
