Privacy Policy
Last updated: 1 November 2026
This policy explains how Social Surge Media (“we”), run by Arindam Sikder from Guwahati, Assam, India, handles personal data collected through socialsurgemedia.cloud. Questions or requests: connect@socialsurgemedia.cloud.
What we collect
- Contact form: your name, email, and anything else you choose to give: business name, phone, website, the service you are interested in, business type, team size, budget range and your message.
- Readiness checklist signup: your name (optional), email, and which page you signed up from.
- Payments: if you buy a course or service on the site, payment is handled by Razorpay. We receive the order and payment reference and the details you enter at checkout; we never see or store your card or bank details.
- Usage statistics: we use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views in aggregate without cookies and without identifying you.
- Technical data: our hosting and security providers process your IP address and browser details to deliver and protect the site; we use the IP address briefly to limit form abuse.
Why we use it
- To answer your enquiry and, if you become a client, to deliver and invoice our services.
- To send you the checklist you asked for and occasional follow-up emails about it. Reply “unsubscribe” at any time and we stop.
- To process payments and keep the records the law requires.
- To keep the site secure and working, and to understand which pages are useful.
Cookies
The public site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Your choice on the cookie notice is saved in your own browser (local storage) so the notice does not reappear. Payment pages may use cookies set by Razorpay to complete a payment securely.
Who processes your data
We do not sell or rent personal data. We use these providers to run the site, each under its own privacy terms:
- Supabase: database where enquiries and signups are stored (Mumbai, India region).
- Vercel: website hosting and the cookie-free analytics.
- Hostinger: domain DNS.
- Resend: delivery of our emails.
- Razorpay: payment processing.
Some of these providers process data outside India. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and signups are kept while they are useful for the conversation or relationship, and deleted on request. Payment and invoicing records are kept for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us to show, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or to stop emailing you, by writing to connect@socialsurgemedia.cloud. We reply within 30 days. These rights apply under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and, if you are in the EU or UK, under the GDPR. You may also complain to your data protection authority.
Children
This site is meant for businesses and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect children’s data.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with a new date. See also our Terms of Use.
